Omaha Beach Golf Course - 36 holes. La ferme Saint-Sauveur, Port-En-Bessin, Normandy

Where better to indulge your passion for golf in a beautiful setting between land and sea at Port en Bessin overlooking the D-Day landing Beaches?

Omaha Beach Golf, already internationally known for its current technically challenging course, opens a second new one, “The Manor Course”, which promises to be sensational. This year you can now discover two 18 holed courses at Omaha Beach When designing the new Manor course, Yves Bureau wished to offer breathtaking views of the Bessin countryside. This course will delight even the most demanding golfers among you with its moved back tees, interesting angles and curves and especially challenging greens. Your turn to play!

The Omaha Beach Golf was created in 1986 by Guy Dupont and designed by Yves Bureau, who has many golf courses in France and abroad to his credit. It is located on the coast near Bayeux and only a few kilometres away from the D-Day Landing Beaches and the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-mer where Steven Spielberg filmed scenes of “Saving Private Ryan” among the 10,000 white crosses.

The 36 holes show two very different aspects of the beautiful local scenery. Views of the sea from the Club House out to the 6th hole, whose green overhangs the port of Port en Bessin, and the last 9 holes give typical scenery of the Normandy countryside with its green meadows bordered by hedges.

Each year Omaha Beach Golf welcomes thousands of overseas players. The historical richness of the site and the beautiful scenery make the Omaha Golf an extraordinary experience.
